***Reserve your spot early, and be added to the next block of classes***
I advertise each class on social media, but due to popular demand, places can fill up very fast. You can reserve a spot on the next available classes by booking using the buttons below. I will contact you within 24 hours to confirm receipt of your payment and will give you more details on the next upcoming class including dates and times. After you reserve your spot you will be redirected to an intake form where you can let me know which class/workshop you want to book from the above list, and if you have preferences for weekdays/weekends and times - this is to help make the classes accessible to everyone and can help influence the next class dates and times: For example, if 4 people reserve a spot today and say they have a preference for Saturday mornings for puppy classes, then a group class will be organized for Saturday mornings.
I will contact you to confirm your reservation within 24 hours and you will be enrolled in a class within 4 weeks.
If you'd rather book directly, feel free to contact me on Facebook or by phone 089 216 8942!
Please note: The locations of classes may vary - please let me know if you are interested in classes closer to you before reserving.
Scentwork
Scentwork is a fantastic activity for any dog, it is fun for the owner and for the dog and allows your dog to use their sense of smell to find people, items, or other dogs. Scentwork has been shown to greatly help behaviour problems and in some cases completely stop behavioural issues. This of course varies from dog to dog, but it just goes to show how important of an activity it is for them!
We do a 3-week introductory course, and after that, you can join in on our drop-in Saturday sessions.
(I do scentwork for cats, too! Message me directly for more information on those)
Please note: The locations of scentwork classes vary, but our introductory sessions are normally in South Mayo, North Galway and West Roscommon counties. The drop-in sessions vary in location.
Sensory Enrichment Sessions
Sensory enriched environments are sensory sessions for your dog or cat. These are small activity sessions tailored to your individual pet that help them explore all of their senses in a healthy and safe way. Sensory enrichment has been shown to help with various behavioural issues and with overall well-being.
I offer a dog walking and a pet sitting service as well.
I don't have set walk lengths and prices, such as doing a "20 minute walk" for a set price. Instead, I talk to you, and see what you and your dog need, and tailor the walk to you. You may have a senior dog that needs more sniffy walks, or a younger dog that has much more energy, or a dog who needs help being trained to walk on a lead. Prices and times will vary.
We will explore together what your dog needs and based on that and the distance travelled to you, I will be able to give you a quote.
Price: Contact me for a quote
I also pet sit all animals in their own homes, however this is only available to pets that already know me so either existing clients or after having done numerous meet and greets.
The price for pet sitting is €20 for travel costs and €10 per hour spent with your pet.
Take your dog for a social walk with us. These walks are a great way to help your dog work on his confidence in his social skills. They are trainer-led by myself and all dog owners get a digital information leaflet in advance of the walks to help them prepare.
Each walk starts with a quick chat about best practice while walking dogs and things to watch out for in their gait or body language, and we talk about this further on in the walk. The whole walk is like a mini training session!
All dogs must wear a harness and be on a long lead of at least 3 meters in length. Retractable leads, headcollars, prong collars, choke chains, front clip harnesses and other aversive tools are not permitted.
Price: €10 for your first walk, free after. FREE for existing training clients or members of the Willow Paws Social Dog Club.
A single consultation session for your dog to assess their needs and help you meet them in a way that is ethical, kind and positive for your dog. This includes some beahviour, but focuses also on their everyday life, routines, daily rituals, nutrition and diet, and holistic well-being.
Price: €80 in-person (within 50km of Claremorris)
€60 online via video-call

Important note: While I am always here to support you with a chat and offer advice about your elderly pet or your pet that may be nearing the end of their life free of charge, this paid service is more specialized for those who require extra help and need on-going support including visits to the home or to vet clinics.
Watching your pet slow down as they get older can be a very difficult and emotional period. You may wonder about how best to help them be comfortable, have a lot of questions or may not even know what questions to ask. Vet visits may be difficult, and in all of the emotional turmoil, it is very easy to feel alone in caring for your older pet.
With experience in various sectors including the veterinary environment, I can utilize my experience to offer support for your pet in their final months or days. Support will vary depending on you and your pet's needs, but I offer various help such as:
🐾 Regular visits and meet-ups with you to talk about your ageing pet and give you support and tips for their care
🐾 Helping you to make emotionally difficult but often necessary adjustments in your routine and lifestyle to help your pet be more comfortable, e.g. helping you to plan a new route for your daily walks that may be kinder on their bodies
🐾 Attending veterinary appointments with you and being the listening ear or a note-taker, especially if you may find it difficult to take in information from the vet while dealing with an emotionally difficult situation
🐾 Activities and activity planning to help you make the most of your pet's last months or days while keeping their physical and mental comfort in mind, to help you say goodbye on a peaceful note with positive memories and knowledge that your pet was happy and as pain-free as possible
🐾 Pet-sitting in your own home, the elderly pet's environment, if you need to go away for some time, and to give your pet care while they relax in their comfortable spots around the home instead of going to a new and potentially stressful environment
🐾 Euthanasia support: I can visit the vet with you on the day, be with your pet in the room while it is happening if it is too difficult for you, or visit your home to be there if euthanasia is scheduled to be done in your home.
🐾 Before and after euthanasia support: As many conversations as you need over a cup of tea or a walk or a phone call(or whatever feels most comfortable), and talk about your pet, your feelings, plans for before, during and after your pet's last day, and anything else relating to your pet that helps. We can also talk about planning the date and how you would want the day to look like, and I will be happy to be with you and your pet on the day to help you make the most of it, or simply arrange a call for the day to help you get through the emotions.
🐾 Memorial planning: We can create memorials such as paw prints, nose prints, paintings made by your pet in a safe and comfortable way, or do other activities with your pet that create a lasting memory of your time together. I will also be happy to talk to you about cremation, how it works and help you make the decision of if and how.
🐾 Continuous support for 3 months after your pet's last day, helping you through the grieving process
🐾 Other support tailored to you and to your pet
Price: €50-€350 depending on situation, level of support required, duration of support and distance to travel. Contact me for a quote.
Every dog deserves care and an ethical approach to their behaviour. Dogs who go through behaviour training or a behaviour assessment are often more likely to find a home quicker. If you are an owner, member of staff or a volunteer of a rescue shelter you can request a FREE training session for a dog in your care or that you or someone else is fostering. This training can be done with a potential new owner or with yourselves. Whether you have a fearful dog or a dog you just want general tips with, anything goes. Please contact me for more information.
I am also offering workshops for rescues.
